Committee

Robert Stewart: Chairman
From directly across the water from Scotstoun, I first found my love of rugby at High School.  Only got to House level as, to be fair,  I was pretty rank.  Much better at Badminton, Table Tennis and Ludo! Much to the disappointment of my parents I opted for earning money rather than getting a further education.  Been working since leaving school in Civil Engineering, both Private and latterly Public Sector. Followed GHK,  then Hawks before settling for Warriors from Hughenden days. Happy Season Ticket holder. Foolishly went to meeting of Xvith Warrior as curiosity got the better of me.  Proud to be Chair for a short period and will hand it over secure in the knowledge that we have, and continue,  to make a difference to the supporters both home and away. Love the game,  team and the Rugby Nation.

Thomas Anderson : Vice Chairman

Beth Anderson: Treasurer

Elizabeth Stewart: Secretary
Been a Glasgow supporter since the Hughenden days and a member at Glasgow Hawks before that.  Went to Govan High School, not a school renowned for its rugby but managed to find my way to the true path eventually.  Left school to work for an investment management company where I was employed for 30 years.  Currently the Office Manager of a law centre in Glasgow.  Apart from work, rugby takes up most of time.

Mary Williams: Media Manager English born and raised, Nigerian bred and proper sporty type in the early days. Played a mixture of sports: netball, hockey, rugby, contemporary dance in the winter and in the summer it was volleyball, rounder’s, discus and 100m relay. I first played rugby in 1997 for Sevenoaks School in Kent, primarily as an inside centre but I also played on the wing, outside centre, full back, where ever I was needed really. I moved up to Glasgow in 1999 to study Architecture at Glasgow University where I continued playing rugby on the wing or inside centre. I eventually graduated with a degree and diploma in Architecture, but then made the move into banking.

Elena Soper: Ordinary Board Member: From the first time I saw Glasgow play I knew I was swapping my football colours in favour of this rugby team.  Since then it's been a whirlwind of rugby education and attending matches and paying a hell of a lot more attention to twitter that have landed me in the committee of the XVIth Warrior and a flag flying, shrieking member of the Warrior Nation! I volunteer for four charities and have a paid retail job

Gillian Frew: Ordinary Board member: I have been a rugby fan since my teens, getting to know "the ins and outs" of rugby through commentary from Bill McLaren on the 5 Nations.  Latterly I was keen to see what was happening in Scottish Rugby below the national team, hence I started going along to Glasgow and Edinburgh games.  I became a Glasgow Warriors season ticket holder in  2010. I enjoy "Friday night rugby" after a hectic week at work in the Health Service! I am also part of the Scottish Rugby Union's "Blue Crew" volunteering at international games helping enhance the match day experience.  I am looking forward to being part of the committee supporting Glasgow Warriors rugby

 Laura Sayers Ordinary Board member:
Never really been into sport before, when I was younger I was running home to watch star trek rather than do anything physical! I was intrduced to rugby relatively recently, however after being 'dragged' along to my first game i was hooked and have been a season ticket holder for 3 seasons now. Originally from Irvine so my favourite player has to be Gordy Reid. When I'm not watching Rugby, I'm spending my time travelling the world with my job as a software Project Manager.

Ross Currie Ordinary Board member: Been a rugby fan since my school days but only started attending Warriors games about 3 years ago as none of my friends are big enough fans to attend games. Love Friday night games as it’s a great start to the weekend after a hard week working in the NHS. When not attending rugby games love to attend as many concerts as possible, fav bands/artists Bruce Springsteen, Jesse Malin, The Wildhearts, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.
